We engaged with Wienot Films to create an explainer film for our academic medical center. Our task was to announce a major transition from paper to electronic patient care notes to nearly 4000 physicians and other health care professionals.
For an institution accustomed to emails and PowerPoints as the primary methods of communicating change, a Wienot film represented an exciting departure for us. Wienot’s founder, Marc Strong, made us feel comfortable with this new medium right away, and he provided a clear view of how the development process would work. From our very first phone meeting the exceptional quality and professionalism of the Wienot team was apparent. Marc and his writer began by researching our project and its context at our hospitals. In fact, they spoke with several of our providers to learn about the ups and downs of a migration to electronic documentation. Once film development was underway, Marc was responsive, patient, adaptable, and thoughtful about every word and image in the film. Possessing both technical skill and artistic vision, Marc described the physician-targeted explainer film we sought, one that achieved “the right blend of logic and emotion.”
I have been so impressed by Marc’s attention to every detail and to his tireless commitment to making our film perfect. While I’m sure there are many Wienot customers, Marc always made us feel like we were the only one. Moreover, it was a joy to work with the Wienot team and I looked forward to the hours when I could focus on the film project because they were actually fun. We’ve been delighted with the final product. Thank you, Wienot Films, for bringing our ideas to life and for exceeding our expectations!
